The providers at The Augury believe in birth. We celebrate a woman’s ability to conceive, grow a precious baby, and then give birth in the many ways that journey may lead. We offer a full spectrum of pregnancy care from pre-conception care and fertility counseling to providing the most up-to-date early aneuploidy screening testing, through the complete pregnancy care and then the finale of the labor and delivery experience.
Our patients are assured by the knowledge that one of our experienced, nurturing physicians or midwives will be present at their side during labor and delivery. We are proud of our extremely low cesarean section rate and make strides to keep all pregnancies and birth as uncomplicated as possible. The Augury works closely with a renowned Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist who deals specifically with high-risk pregnancies when complications do arise.
The Augury has the honor of serving both low-risk and high-risk patients. Some of the more common high-risk issues we help women through during pregnancy include pre-eclampsia, diabetes, previous cesarean sections, and recurrent pregnancy loss, to name a few. We are proud to work closely with women desiring a trial of labor after c/section and very often have a successful vaginal birth after c/section (VBAC). Women desiring scheduled repeat cesarean sections are also fully accommodated by the physicians at The Augury.
